If a person is going away...for instance on vacation, is there a way to stop emails from piling up on their computer while they're gone?   Huh?  I've been away before and was faced with pages and pages of emails upon return, or, a message that my mail box was over quota...high water mark.   Angry I've received messages from others telling me that they were going away and to stop sending mail, but I think that would be a nuisance and also, I wouldn't want everybody to know that I was away....that could be a security issue!  Thanks.

If you have an email address with your ISP, then you could ask them to automatically forward all mails to you at a different location, e.g. gmail, yahoo or something like that. That would stop your mailbox from getting congested with too much mail.

If you've got an email provider elsewhere, see if they offer the same service.

This way will make it very easy for you to pick and choose what you want to read through when you come back from your vacation.
