i have just purchased a acer aspire 7720z didn't even get a chance to back it up, heck didn't even get a chance to check IT out,first crystal eye webcam stoped contacted acer they told me how to reinstall it go to empowering click erocovery widget!!! empowering came up on desktop but no widgets were there is there any other way to down load empowering tech.with all the widgets?Huh? been reading you can purchase it but why should i when laptop is only 3 weeks old acer support sux. i am not new to pc's, i have 1 other lappy and my 2 kids have 1 each, plus a home pc ALL run smooth and if not i fix them no prob. xp i guess thats why help me please with vista thanks guy's

Since the machine should be under warranty, then you should just take it back to the place where you bought it and demand they fix it for you, free of charge.
If they won't do that, then you've got a good case to file a complaint against them to whatever trade regulation office you have.

Let us know how you fared with the store people.
