Hi guys,

I bought a gamebridge and I'm trying it on my Wii but it's not working. The light on the gamebridge is always blinking(that means there's data transfering), but when I'm going in Intervideo home theater(the software on the installation CD) or even virtual dub when the light turn green(it means it's ready to record) my computer freezes.

Here's my config:

CPU Type: Intel Pentium 4, 2400 MHz (18 x 133)

Motherboard Name: VIARAMA U8668 (Pro)

Motherboard Chipset: VIA VT8751 Apollo P4M266

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS (256 MB)

Audio: VIA AC'97 Enhanced Audio Controller

OS: Windows XP Pro SP2

Gamebridge TV AVC-1410 from Adaptec

Here's what I have did for the moment:

1-Reinstall SP2

2-Change usb port

3-Update my motherboard drivers

4-Install SNMP for evntwin.exe

5-Install UPHC(User Profile Hive Cleanup)

After #5, when I plug it, it unplugs/plugs after almost each 5 seconds.

I really don't know what to do now, I need help!

You failed to mention how much physical memory your system has. If you're unsure as to how to find out, just right click your My Computer icon and select Properties. The amount of RAM should be displayed on the very first screen that pops up.

Go into the device manager and check if there are any yellow exclamation marks next to any hardware you have installed. Then report back.

I would try the game bridge on a different system, to see if it's broken and you should get a replacement for it. If it works flawlessly on the other system, then there might be some sort of compatibility issue between the bridge and your system and that's something I have no solution for. Maybe some super savvy hardware hybrid maestro could help you make them talk properly, but unfortunately I don't think I can help there.
