after a couple months of sitting in my closet, i took out my old PC to try to use it once again. I powered it on, and all the lights and fans came on, but no signal went to the monitor  Cry  I checked the video card by putting it into another computer, and it worked fine. Before i turned the old PC on though, i put in a stick of ~8-year old RAM. Could this outdated piece of hardware have essentially killed my system?
