I turn on my computer today and i got a Platform ID expired error on the boot up. Its asking for a new ID i have no idea why or how it got to this so if any one could help or tell me why its doing this it would be great. My mother board is Intel Desktop Board D946GZIS.

Whats running at startup? Check the System Configuration Utility

Huh? I have had the same thing happen to me and I need help solving it as well.

It was working fine then I reboot the computer...Upon start up I see the POST Screen then seconds later a black screen with Platform ID: huge long alphanumeric number then on the second line I see Error on the third line it asks for a Key: ??

 PC Smash I can't get around this at all...

Please help Cry,
