My wife's computer is running Vista.  According to everything I have been able to determine, Flash Player 9 is, in fact, installed on the computer and is located in the proper location.

Whenever she tries to run some of her games, she gets an error message that the game requires Flash Player 8 or above and she is unable to run other applications that require Flash Player.

I have completely uninstalled/reinstalled Flash Player from the Adobe/Macromedia site several times.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Hello and Welcome to MyTechSupport.ca

Have you tried installing Flash Player 8 instead of 9 and try? What is the game(s) she is trying to play? What is the exact error message?
