Hi there.  New to this site.  Hope I am posting in the right section.  Im curretly building a pc for the first time and ive gotten everything except the hard drive and video card.  I am planning on running my OS and applications on a single drive and storing all my data on a seperate drive.  Id like the drive my OS is on to be as fast as possible.  Ive been reviewing RAID setups which, quite frankly, has confused me.  Many conflicting opinions out there about which is the best configuration.  My thought is.....just get one hard drive that is as fast as possible.  WD makes the velociraptor 10K that is fast all on its own.  My question is wheather or not others feel that 1, 150 Gb drive would be sufficient to run the computers OS and additional applications.  I will not be using my comp for gaming.  Strictly multimedia stuff.....movies, music etc.  Im inclined to think that it is but would value the opinion of others with more experience.
