i set up my aol in outlook 2007 and now when i go to aol the emails are not there i want to beeable to see my emails in aol and in outlook

You might need to contact AOL's support people about that.

It means that your email all transfered to Outlook. It is also in gmail. But there is also some options to control this behavior.

Login to your AOL account...
Click the "Settings" tab at the top of your AOL email homepage
Click "General Settings" and click the tab that reads "Forwarding."
Select the option that reads "Forward a copy of incoming mail to:"
Fill in the address

There should be an option to "Keep a copy on Server" or "Save a copy"

Save the settings
