Hi, I am new to this group. I have a family member who bought a second hand computer a year ago (Dell D610) running XP Pro (Ver 5.1.26) that has been working well up until about a week ago. Everytime we run the "CMD" command under "Run" the computer restarts. I can bring up a DOS window using "COMMAND"  but as soon as I type in a dos command at the promp the computer restarts. An error window comes up a 1/4 of a second and I cannot read what the error is before windows shuts down and begins the restart. The most recent program loaded was Franson Gate (a program to route the GPS signal - one input to multiple outputs). I hope you can help.
