I have a Soyo P4I865PE plus Motherboard with 2BA1 bios installed
and its currently running an Intel Celeron 2.0 ghz processor.
I purchased a hyperthreaded 3.0ghz pentium 4 chip.
Installed it and my computer only boots to the windows loading screen then stops.
I tried loading it in safe mode but while it loads it stops on the agp440.sys and doesnt go any further. I know thats the graphics why would it stop there if i replaced the CPU???
Is there specific settings in the cmos I have to load for it to work. Or does my board not support it??
This is my first time doing this.
I'm not a noob when it comes to computers but i'm also not a guru

Any help would be greatly appreciated
