I have a SanDisk 16gb flash pen drive with the stupid U3 software bundled on it. The drive has now suddenly stopped accepting the 'correct' password and Scandisk have basically told me there is nothing that can be done and all the data is lost. I have tons of family photos that it seems are lost forever because of no fault of my own. Is there anyway i can get this drive decrypted? Is there software that can do this? Can i do anything to get the data back?

You can try RECUVA

Download from http://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva or from http://www.piriform.com/recuva/download/standard

Recuva recovers files deleted from your Windows computer, Recycle Bin, digital camera card, or MP3 player and thumb drives.

And if you don't want the U3 software on your thumb drives, use the link below

Download the U3 Launchpad Removal Tool for SanDisk USB U3 devices

http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/u3/launchpadremoval.exe

WARNING: U3 Launchpad removal is irreversible. You won
