Hi all....
  problem.....Huh?
 i use outlook express but can not open any links sent through as mail....they show as links but nothing happens when i click em....!
 Also if i click on download new backgrounds nothing happens....anybody got any ideas.....??
  some reason it just wont start ie,,,,,driving me mad.....please help....!!!

Just push the shift button while clicking on the link and it will open up in a new window.

Did you ever get the NERO oem tools I sent you?

yeh i got those ok thanx....i did reply saying thank you for all the help but you can't have got it..
Anyway....ive tried doin that and nothing happens...!!
also tried going to start/run/ then typing regsvr32 ect, but to no avail.....any idea,s what now.......

Hi,

Did you try 'regsvr32 urlmon.dll' ?

Hi,

This behavior can occur for one of the following reasons:
1. Internet Explorer is not currently your default Internet browser, and the browser that was formerly the default is no longer installed.
2. A short file name (standard 8.3 naming) is used for the program name associated with Internet shortcuts.

Read the fix from:
OLEXP: Internet Shortcuts in Outlook Express Do Not Start Web Browser

ive downloaded and reinstaled and thats fixed the problem. Thanks for all the help once again.
