PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows 2000 Pro
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Dell
Error Messages:Access to files denied

When logging on in Windows 2000, my user name has some how changed from

Hi,

Do you know the admin password?

If so, recreate the "dave" user. Log in as admin and change the folder ownership to 'dave' by right clicking the folder and selecting "Properties". Look on the "Security" tab for the "Advanced" button, then go to the "Owner" tab.
