Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:  Verifying DMI pooldata message.

What is this takes approximately 1 1/2 minutes to read this and the total boot from start to desktop screen is close to 3 can I shorten this up

Have you installed any new hardware since this message started appearing?

- Try setting the hard drive parameters in the BIOS (using the HDD detect in the BIOS) instead of leaving it to AUTO.
- Make sure all IDE devices (e.g. hard drive, cdrom drives...) are properly jumpered (master / slave)
- Make sure the ribbon cable are well connected at both ends

Let me know how this turns out and we will go from there.
