Hi,

What port did they say you needed open?!!?!

I cannot tell you how to open a port in your firewall because I do not know what product you're using!

Be careful opening ports because you could open yourself up to attacks! You should discuss this with whoever is administrating your network security to see if he/she thinks it's a good idea to open whatever port this vendor wants you to open!

did the vendor have to give me a port #? I am using Watchguard Firebox III - I had the admin rights but how I "open" a port if the vendor gave me the #?

Hi,

I would ask your network admin to help you out since I am not familiar with Watchguard Firebox III
