Celtic star Tierney has enjoyed a stunning rise over the last few seasons and emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United back in the summer. The Red Devils, frustrated at Luke Shaw's failure to flourish under Jose Mourinho, were on the lookout for a new left-back. Celtic star Tierney was earmarked as a potential signing, as well as Juventus Alex Sandro and Tottenham's Danny Rose. Shaw has since rediscovered his best form for United and also impressed in England's billige fodboldtrøjer 2-1 defeat to Spain on Saturday. Yet Celtic hero Camara, who helped the Hoops win the Scottish Premiership title back in 2006, has revealed he scouted Tierney on United's behalf. 'I do some scouting for Manchester United and scouted for Sunderland and we followed Kieran Tierney loads." he told the Sun. "He's a very good left-back - he will go for big money if and when Celtic decide to sell. "It's one of those where the fans, manager and the chairman - none of them will want Tierney sold. "But in Scotland, the English Premier League's next door and everyone wants to be there. "At some point the player and club will have to see a move as a possibility for him. "Hell want to test himself at a high level. He'd definitely be playing for a top five or six team in the Premier League." Former Celtic striker John Harrison, though, thinks Tierney is happy with the Hoops. "KT is fodboldtrøjer tilbud the hero," he recently said. "He is the fan on the pitch. Had he not been brilliant at football, he would be standing in the corner with all his pals. "Is it any wonder, in my view, that no Celtic player has been idolised since that Swedish bloke [Henrik Larsson]. "He loves Celtic. Everyone knows that. "He said just recently that if he could stay at the club for the rest of his career then his dreams would come true."
