FC Barcelona's Arthur Melo and Real Madrid's Vinicius Junior are two stars who were bought for big money without playing a single match for their senior national team. As such, here are 10 of the most expensive uncapped stars in football.

Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte tops the list recently fotballdrakter barn compiled by FourFourTwo with his 57.2 million (R1.05 billion) price tag. The centre-back joined the Citizens from Athletic Bilbao in January this year, and is eligible to play for both France and Spain.
Everton new boy Richarlison is in second place with a transfer fee of 40 million (R734 million) when he was purchased by Marco Silva from Premier League outfit Watford. The former Fluminense star has scored three goals in two matches for the Toffees, proving he has been a decent investment so far.
In third place is Vinicius Junior, who was just 16 years old when Real Madrid agreed a 38.7 million (R710 million) deal to bring him to the Spanish capital. The former Flamengo forward starred in the Selecao side that won the U15 South American Championship in 2015, and the fotballdrakter U17 equivalent two years later.
Jiangsu Suning's Alex Teixeira, who was once heavily linked with Liverpool, is in fourth spot with a fee of 38.5 million (R706 million), while former Bordeaux star Malcom, who recently joined Barcelona, is fifth.
Making up the rest of the top 10 most expensive uncapped stars, according to FourFourTwo, are Arthur Melo, Clement Lenglet, Anthony Modeste, Fabian Ruiz and Abdou Diallo, respectively.
