I transcribe and I have my headphones connected in the speaker connection in the back of my computer.  How do I turn up the sound?  I have opened up the volume control and all the slides are up as far as they will go.  Is there somewhere to turn up the sound?

Thanks,
LaDonna

Hi,

Many sound cards require amplified speakers to get full volume.

If your sound card has an "Line Out" connector, try that to see if the volume level is better. You may have to add in the mixer to access the volume control in your mixer.
Go to "Options" then "Properties" and select the controls needed in "Show the following volume controls" section (if "Line Out" not shown in mixer)
