Hi,
I recently performed a fresh installation of Windows XP on my computer without reformatting the hard drive.  As a result, my wife and I both had new home folders in the "Documents and Settings" folder with our old home folders renamed to have a ".000" at the end.  For example, my current home folder is called "Steve" and my old home folder is called "Steve.000".  My problem is that when I try to access these .000 folders, I get an "Access Denied" error.  How do I get to the data inside these folders???!!!

Hi,

Log in using an 'admin' account to access these files.

I have logged in using an account with Administrator rights in both normal and Safe Mode.  I still cannot access the files.  I get "Access Denied".  I think I need some sort of utility that supercedes Win XP file permissions.
