when i have been on the internet for about ten or so minutes a window pops up saying :
SYSTEM SHUTDOWN
REMOTE PROCEDURE CALL
(RPC)                       what does it mean?Huh?Huh??
THEN THE COMPUTER RESTARTS ITSELF AND DOES P**S ME OFF

sounds like you have the msblaster virus go here and do an online virus scan http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan if you are infected you will need to remove it and get the patches micro$oft has issued for this
