PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:windows xp
Problem Application Name & Version:princeton dpp500 tft monitor
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:none, thats the problem!!!!

Hi there, I bought a tft monitor on ebay and the guy said it was working but didnt include a power supply.  So i bought one(one of the power supplys that has several different adaptors to fit the appliance input)

I fitted it with the correct sized adaptor and the first time it switched on perfect but wasn't getting a signal, probably because I hadn't enabled the dvi on the graphics card.but then stupidly, I swopped it round, the polarity, and I put the wrong polarity in the inside, and it didn't turn on.  Oops, big mistake.  Now it doesn't start at all.  I replaced the fuse in the plug but it still doesn't work.  I need reassurance here, is there any way to fix it?  I heard something about a glass type fuse inside the monitor.  I tried looking for it, but couldnt get the back off the monitor.  Any ideas anyone?  Please?

Hi,

Sounds like you definitely fried something but what? I cannot say. I try to stay away from monitor repairs, therefore I cannot help you in this case. Sad
