PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Dell optiplex pentium III
Problem Application Name & Version:xp home edition
Problem Hardware Make & Model:norton systemworks,and some video files
Error Messages:norton="Dr Norton cannot run because winn32 is it is running with another aplication"


Hello thanks for all the help in  other issues ,well I got another ones like this Norton systemworks have a Dr. norton diagnost problems in your system but I cannot used because a window appeared "Winn32 is hoked up or running with other program so I cannot used, also when I tried to open some video files in :WMV or AVI ...cannot open just in MPEG ..I have to do something in my computer so I can fixed this...? Thanks

Hi,

The Norton app is most likely already running in your icon tray (bottom right hand corner).

What app and version are you using to run your video files. Is it trying to download codec and then fails?

Hello thanks for the info but I don't understand ..: yes Norton systemworks 2002 is showing a icon on the right button corner ,but what I need to do to make this work..can I reinstalled ? also my video files : I just I used a windows media player what else I can do to see this formats ,I have to go in some files and set up...? or I need to downloaded some applications..? thanks.

Hi,

What version of Norton Systemworks are you running?
What version of Windows Media Player are you running?

If running Windows Media Player 8, try upgrading to version 9:
