The ATI DVD player comes up. I'm not sure what you mean by version it is radeon 64 meg video card. When I go to device manager and do sys comp. check it says this device is working properly, but it still wont play. The viewer screen comes up and is filled with colored horiz. lines and then it freezes. I've tried to contact ATI but they want to charge me to get support. I've also gone to panasonic's (Matsu****a's) site but can't get any help. The shop that built my computer has closed down so no help there. I shouldn't need to get another player to watch DVDs should I?Sad

Hi,

Has this player ever worked? If so, have you tried re-installing the ATI software?
Did you try different DVDs?
What version of ATI's Multimedia Center are you running?

The shop that built my computer has closed and I never got the disc that goes with my DVD-ROM I've gone to the website and they say to go to the shop where you got your computer, any ideas there? thanks for your help so far. scott m.

Hi,

You may want to try installing the latest Catalyst 3.7 display drivers from:

Dear Sylvain
Thank you very much for helping me. the last suggestion was the ticket. I actually went to that site twice but I didn't read it right. The operative word was "including these problems" the problem wasn't listed , so I didn't download the driver. After you sent me to that link I read it better and d'loaded the driver and voila my DVD player works like a champ. Thanks again for sticking with me and my problem until it was resolved. Your site is great thank you.
