Operating System Version:Windows 98
Problem Application Name & Version: Windows itself
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:



HI all,
There is my newest problem with my PC. Namely, when I start PC everything is OK until, i would say half of starting Windows, you know, that colorful initial screen with Windows logo on. After that nothi9ng more. It is not stoped, botom line on that logo is "going on" but no how to reach initial screen of w98 (DESCTOP). Wnen I start under safe mode things are OK, but I couldn't find where is the problem. In sistem directory (control panel-system)everithing is loocking good.Huh?Undecided

Hi,

Device Manager will not show any problems if in Safe-Mode because most drivers are not loaded. If running Windows 98 SE, try a Diagnostics Startup mode to see if Windows will boot completely. Let me know and we will go from there.

Can you please update your previous thread if that problem is resolved, with your solution! Thanks...

No, it is not W98SE. It is W98 final. Wich diagnostic Startup to try? I tried scandisk, and nothing hapened.
