Ok This is egzacty what happens.
its completed collecting info
completed dynamic update (which i canclled)
then gets up to installing windows> then installing devices.
the screen goes blck 4 a sec then comes back it does this twice.
then the blue screen comes up and it says "BAD_POOL_CALLER"
it also has tech info "stop.oxooooooc2 (0x0000000x7,0x00000cb4,0x020c0008,0x812a4c28)
While this blue screen is up it begins a physic memory dump.
i cant get gack into windows to do a reinstall.
if theres no other simple way to fix this error how do i reinstall windows from dos?
thanks

Hi,

This error is usually caused by software or drivers (ATI Graphics RAGE FURY MAXX card may cause this)

Anyways, the WinXP cd is bootable. If you system supports booting off cd, then simply boot off it and setup will start.

The verify if system supports booting off cd:

1. Enter your BIOS setup (hit <DEL> key during power up on most systems)
2. Check for the boot device order and set to cdrom first, then floppy drive and then hard drive
4. Save and exit
5. Insert your WinXP installation CD and try booting off it
