PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows 98 second edition
Problem Application Name & Version:ULEAD Videostudio 6
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:Runtime error 226 at 00001FAO

This just started recently. I wanted to splice together some holiday footage and when I open file or work on a project the runtime error message appears and then the programme has performed and illegal operation message comes up and the programme closes. Very frustrating and there doesn't seem to be any patch for it.

Hi,

Is there a "Details" or "More Info" button on the error message page telling you which module caused the error?

Have you recently installed any new hardware/software?

Hi, no there isn't an option for more details. Just an ordinary text box with that message and an option to click OK, then the 'illegal operation' message comes up a short while after.

Hi,

Does this happen to all video clips or only a certain few?
Have you tried to re-install Videostudio 6?

Hi
I've encountered the same problem in Ulead Video Studio 5 SE. I have been trying to edit some video I took using a transitional effect in the software program and each time I try to add the effect it gives me the message "runtime error 226 at 00001FA0" Did you find a solution? I downloaded some patches from the Ulead site but they didn't help.

Hi, I didn't find a solution. Unfortunately I had to re-install windows due to a virus and when I re-installed the programme the error doesn't show anymore.
