Hi
Can anyone help me? I d/loaded a PDF file (Autocad 2002 bible) and I'm unable to print or copy&paste to another program. It seems that the print function has been disabled. Is there anyway that I may be able to create a hardcopy of the file?
I hope someone can help as I need a hardcopy to assist in my studies in Autocad design.

Many thanks in advance

Jrus

P.S. Please email me with the answer

Hi,

Can you supply a link to the PDF file so I can check it out?
What version of Acrobat Reader are you using?

Perhaps the author as disabled printing?!?

Thanks for your reply, I had a look at the pdf and it seems that the printing has been disabled. I using reader 5.1 and about to download 6, can copy text also be disabled?
This is the URL I used in flashget to download the PDF file

Hi
Thanks  again for your reply, if you say you can then how? The doc details say that everything is disallowed. But anyway I spent another 28hrs downloading Autocad 2004 Bible and it can copy text, put one problem it won't copy graphics and text at the same time. Is there a PDF reader other than Adobe that might be able to do this or do you have any idea on how to copy graphics and text together. I'm now using reader vers 6.
Any help would be apreciated

Hi,

What I meant was "it appears you can disable copying text"

I am not aware of any way to copy and paste images within a PDF file, I don't think you can! This is why companies use it to protect their properties!

Thanks for your help, I'll just keep trying to find an unencrypted copy.
