hi all, i keep getting this message on the blue screen of death IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
If this is your first time you've seen this error screen restart
your comp. if this screen appears again please follow these steps:
Make sure any hardware or software are properly installed.
If problem continues disable or remove newly installed
hardware or software.Disable BIOS memory options
such as caching or shadowing. Enter safe mode to
remove installed programs. i have tried formatting and sometimes get a message saying that my m/c is not fully acpi compliant, any help please as the m/c crashes 6/7 times a day,it even does it after an install and not connected to the internet, runnig or trying to xp pro, many thanks

Hi,

Go to the Control Panel > Power Options
Set all option for the Power Scheme to "Never" on the "Power Schemes" tab
Disable (deselect) Hibernate on the Hibernate tab

If problem persists, disable power management in BIOS (usually the <DEL> key on power up)

Hi,

The ACPI is the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface

Try disabling any ACPI devices in the "System Devices" section of Device Manager and at the BIOS level.
