I need help with my computer...........I am having a problem with the mouse. Every time I surf the net, or do anything else on the computer the cursor will start moving up or down until it reaches the top of the screen, without me moving the mouse at all. When I move the mouse, it stops moving but if I do nothing the cursor will keep moving up or down until it reaches the top or bottom of the screen. Is the mouse the problem? ANY advice appreciated.

Hi,

Is your system a desktop or laptop? If a laptop, what make and model?
What make and model is your mouse?

My computer is a desktop, and my mouse is a retail plus ps/2 mouse. I broke the original one that came with the computer so I had to buy this mouse. I got it at Wal Mart

Hi,

Can you borrow a friends PS/2 mouse to test. I suspect the mouse is the problem, but you should test this before buying one!
