I just plugged in a new microphone into the mike jack (I have not installed a mike before) and tested it with Sound Recorder. Nothing recorded.  I have a P4 533Mhz with a Asrock M266A motherboard. What might the problem be? Thanks!

Hi,

Did you check your recording volume level in your mixer?
What version of Windows?
