Hi,

I am from the region but never used either providers. I know someone using Sprint with no problems. If going to Bell Sympatico's High Speed, then disconnects should not be an issue.

Hi,

F.Y.I.

Frequent disconnects could be caused by an incorrect modem initialization string, which is specified by the modem 'driver' (inf file). The problem could also be caused by noisy phone lines. Therefore changing to another dial-up provider may not always solve the problem but sometimes do if the problem is caused by them.

Like I mentioned, if going to high speed internet, disconnects should not be an issue.

Hello Admin

Thank you very much for your answer.
I check the modem and modem drivers all looks ok, some day I had to make a few atemts to get connected and wait a long time to be connected and while surfing I get disconected, but many time I get connected fast and I have a smoot surfing. In my area ther is no high speed internet service jet, and the old noisi phone lines will be the cause of all the problem and time of the day when is high internet trafic.
Thank you for your answer.

Sincerely, Granny
