PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows XP Professional
Problem Application Name & Version:Winamp 2.91
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Soundcard onboard Intel 810(e) chipset,Intel Pentium 3 processor 550 Mhz 128 MB SDRAM
Error Messages:none



Whenever I am listening to songs and connected to the internet at the same time,the computer suddenly reboots.This happens after some time I am connected to the net.I use winamp to listen songs and they are mp3 songs.I dont think my processor and memory specs are that bad that i cant even listen to songs while being online.And There is only 1 item at the taskbar,i.e yahoo or msn messenger.Please tell me why this is happening?

Hi,

Are you sure this is not caused by your system overheating?
Make sure all your fans are spinning, especially the CPU fan.

How do I know if my CPU is overheating or not?

Hi,

If the CPU fan is not spinning, then the CPU is overheating.

Also, most BIOS will have a temperature status (hit <DEL> key during power up on most systems to enter BIOS setup)

I noted down the following data from BIOS,now can you tell me if the CPU is overheating or not (I got this data just after the computer restarted while listening songs and connect to the net)
System temperature-35 C
PPGA CPU temp-32 c
slot 1 cpu temp-35 c
CPU Fan speed -4128 RPM
