Iv'e heard your problem seems to happen when your NORMAL.DOT file gets corrupt....so you can try and rename the NORMAL.DOT file to NORMAL.OLD

Whether this will work....i don't know,iv'e not tried it myself but i saw this same problem in a thread and it seemed to work, but the only problem is i can't remember where i saw the thread, but this link will take you to a lot of other solution sites...

You can only try.......GOOD LUCK

Hi,

Does this happen when Win2K boots up or when running a particular application?
What application are you running to generate this error message?

Thanks Berty, I'll give it a try and see if it makes any difference.

Thanks Sylvain - It seems to pop up after I've run  (Microsoft) word or outlook program and after looking at the error message more closely on the top bar it has " Microsoft Visual Basic"

Microsoft Visual Basic denotes a macro error in Word. It will then be your corrupted normal.dot because that is the only bad macro that can happen in Word.

Hi Berty, Renamed three files that came up as Normal.dot
Reopened Word and the visual basic error came up again. I still have Win 98 installed as well as 2000. Even though I boot into 2000 do you think it could have a problem because 98 is still installed?
