PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

Everytime I open MS Excel 2000, I get an error message that reads, "CLSID:{AC9F2F90-E877-11CE-9F68-00AA00574A4F}". It is in a Microsoft Visual Basic Box.  I don't understand the whole visual basic thing, but I did try to do a couple of things to fix this, but was unsuccessful.  I tried going to the Help menu in the Exel toolbar and clicked the "detect and repair", but that did not work.  I then wen to the control panel and add/remove hardware and clicked on Microsoft Office 2000, then clicked on repair/restore.  This did not fix the problem either.  Any other ideas...short of having to completely remove office and reinstall it?  I'd hate to lose all my emails/contacts, templates, etc.
Thanks,
RB

Hi,

1. Go to Start > Run
2. Type 'Regsvr32.exe fm20.dll' (no quotes) and hit ok
3. The following message should appear: DllRegisterServer in c:\windows\system\fm20.dll succeeded.
