Operating System Version:Windows XP
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:Checksum Error

I have a problem with my computer and i dont have a clue what is causing it.

It is a intermitant fault which only seems to happen when I have loads of work to do.

I turn on the computer, all the lights come on and nothing happens.

Sometimes when it happens Checksum error comes up on the screen, but most of the time the monitor goes back into sleep mode and thats all that happens.

Then other times, like tonight, I turn on the computer and everything works perfectly.

Any clue as to what it might be?

I would make sure all cards, CPU, memory, ribbon cables and power connectors are well attached/seated, especially the power connector going to the motherboard. But only if you feel comfortable opening the case!
