Hi,

Can you give more details?
Where do you see this and what are you doing to see this?
What device are conflicting?
Is this message popping up or on bootup?......

Thanks for the reply. The IP has been a problem since I got a wireless connection going about a month ago. The company is new and have a lot of bugs to work out that THEY don't understand yet, so they aren't much help yet. The connection often drops me and when I try to repair the connection it says there is an IP Address failure. Today when logging on, I got the 'IP Conflict' message, and it went away fast but I hadn't seen it before. I wondered if it has an effect on the wireless connection problem, and if so, what? I have defragged everything, and cleaned files since then. (Compact'S PC Doctor)
Thanks again.

Hi,

An IP conflict error message usually means your computer's IP is already in use by another system.

Make sure all systems on the network have different IPs.
