Putting together a new computer

When I start it up it beeps 6 times found on the internet this means
8042 Gate-A20 error and it means the keyboard controller is not working right. My problem is I have no idea where the controller is and what it looks like. I understand you will not no how every mother board is set up, but maybe a kick in the right direction will help

I have already messed around with all the cables and tried a diferent keyboard.

Either try a different keyboard or replace the motherboard.

The keyboard controller is built into the motherboard and cannot be replaced. If the controller is defective you have to replace the motherboard.

I would try another keyboard first to test.
