PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:XP Pro
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages: 00014432.exe - Unable to locate component
                This application failed to start because EGNSEngine.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem....  


 I cannot find the application they are referring to...

DLL File: egnsengine or egnsengine.dll
DLL Name: Gator GAIN Spyware Library
Description: Browser related DLL Used by the Gator GAIN Spyware

run spybot search and destroy or adaware and see if that fixes your problem seems you have some spyware on your pc

Hello Brian...I had run Clean Sweep, Spy Killer and PowerScan, plus Norton Disk Doctor. On your suggestion I downloaded Spy Sweeper and that appears to have solved the problem...Thank you for your help...Malcolm.
