PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows XP

Okay, I'm not sure what is causing this but.......my mouse sometimes starts moving out of control.  it moves all over the scree and clicks on random things.  if i try to move my mouse, the pointer will begin to move even more out of control.  eventually it stops, but an hour or two later it'll start up again.  i dont know whats causing this....so hopefully someone here does.

The jumping leads me in one direction.
Mouse ball needs cleaning...new battery if it's wireless...try different mousing surfaces etc.
If it's actually clicking on things I'd check for a practical joker (friend hopefully) who could be remotely controlling your desktop.

Hi,

How old is your mouse? If cleaning the rollers (remove ball to access) doesn't do it, then try another the mouse.
