G'day,

the other day i ran a virus scan and i had a few virus which i thought got fixed however now when i right click on a link and select "open in new window" the window comes up however nothing loads and it is left blank. Also all the pop ups i get are also blank. I've read through a few posts however im struggling to understand so basic steps to help would be great.

Try this:

Start > Run > 'regsvr32 urlmon.dll' (no quotes)
