Hey all, i have a Celeron 2ghz with 512sd ram, 20gig hdd, geforce mx 440-8x 64mb graphics, NIC, onboard sound, 4 USB, with Windows XP Professional installed. Ever since i purchased the machine, i've been encountering problems, with the comp just suddenly resetting or pausing without warning. I looked around everywhere for a solution and i think i've narrowed it down to an IRQ conflict, but i'm not completely certain. My on-board sound and NIC are both sharing the same IRQ (IRQ 10) and my graphics and USB are also sharing a different IRQ (IRQ 11). Is there anything i can do to resolve this? I've already tried moving the NIC to different PCI slots but it doesn't do anything and i can't move my graphics because there's only 1 agp on the motherboard. The funny thing is that the computer only has trouble in windows, in games it runs fine but i know it isn't the copy of windows i've installed, because i've tried several different copies, ME, XP Pro, XP Home, and even 98 and the same problem occurs. OH yes 1 more problem, in GTA3 the graphics don't seem nowhere near as smooth as on my XP2000+ that i have in the study yet my machine is around 400mhz faster!!! Why is that??? It would be much appreciated if i could get some feedback on this issue, thanx all, hope to hear from someone soon.

Nathan
