PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:XP Pro
Problem Application Name & Version: KazaA\w32.kwbot.c.worm
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages: "Windows cannot find .......... cmd32.exe"
Cool
There has in the past been some discussion on this subject and I have managed to sought it with the aid of Symantec Corp had all the help I needed to solve this problem at http://securityresponse.symantec.com/ . However althuogh I was able to access regedit and make a back up and then edit . I was unable to delete or quarintine the offending file - cmd32.exe which is not supposed to be present in windows\system32 folder so Im told.
The answer for me was to cut the offending file and paste it to a floppy......this worked! Then I blitzed it with a format.....you can throw it on the the log fire! Cool I then followed the instructions found on the symantec  site for dealing with the w32.kwbot.c.worm virus, which, by the way had caused the trouble in the first place via KazaA.
