Operating System Version: Windows 98SE
Problem Application Name & Version: Windows 98SE
Problem Hardware Make & Model: IBM 300GL 6282-75U (the floppy drive)
Error Messages: "The floppy disk is not formatted. Would you like to format drive A:?"

I reformat my computer and do a fresh install of Windows every 6 months.  Today, after I formatted and reinstalled windows, i tried installing the driver for my D-Link network card (which is on a floppy disk)and I got the message "The floppy disk is not formatted. WOuld you like to format drive A:?".  This comes up everytime I try to access my floppy drive. I have tried numerous disks, and all the same result (all the disks work on my other two PCs).  Is there any way to correct this problem?

I am able to use my floppy drive in MSDOS, but not in Windows...
I am able to boot using a start-up disk, and I am able to use files on the start-up disk, but am not able to do anything in Windows.
