Hi guys
seems i have a problem. When i access something or do anything on
my PC a 'siren' sound comes from my hard drive. i'm pretty sure its from there but its hard to tell. i also guessed that it sounds when i use the hard drive. It goes for ages and pissed me off real bad. it stops after a while of leaving the computer alone.
Anyone got any clues???

If the sound is indeed coming from the hard drive, I would backup your important files now!

I suspect the CPU fan may have dust in it and having problems turning. I would verify this and replace the CPU fan if this is the case. To know for sure, put your finger in the CPU fan blades to hold it and power the system on, if the noise is not present and returns when removing your finger, then you will know it needs replacement.
