Operating System Version:windows ME
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Labtec desk mike

Just wondering if a headset microphone would work better than my labtec desk mike?  My audio seems fine one day and then I get reports than I am way down in the mud, even with my record mode up as high as it will go.  Would a more expensive mike or headset have more bells and whistles in regard to fine-tuning and adjusting?  Any recommendations?  Someone said I should mute my midi....whatever that means or whatever that would do or not do!  Sorry to be so stupid.
