PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows 98se
Problem Application Name & Version:XP Office Pro
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:



Hello everybody, I am currently running Windows 98se and using Office 2000 Premium and I would like to know if Office XP Professional is compatible with Win 98se or if it would cause any problems if I installed it instead of 2000 Premium. Thanks in advance for any info.

here are the requirements for office xp.....yes it will work on win98



Computer/Processor Computer with Pentium 133 megahertz (MHz) or higher processor; Pentium III recommended
Memory For all Office XP suites:
RAM requirements depend on the operating system used:
Windows 98, or Windows 98 Second Edition
24 MB of RAM plus an additional 8 MB of RAM for each Office program (such as Microsoft Word) running simultaneously
Windows Me, or Microsoft Windows NT
