PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: 2000pro
Problem Application Name & Version:ie 5.01
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Error Messages:

when i go to windows update on a fresh install of win2000 pro, it tells me i cant access the update site due to "The Group policy object, Remove all Access to Windows Update is Enabled". ive been through gpedit, but dont see where to enable this function. does anyone know? Thanks ...

In gpedit got to (in the left Pane and expand the plus '+' signs) +User Configurations  +Admin Templates +Windows Components  and double click "Windows Update" folder.You can high light and click on Properties and make your changes.
