PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Win XP
Problem Application Name & Version: Internet Explorer 6.0
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Pachard Bell iMedia 5064
Error Messages:

I've always set my homepage as Yahoo.co.uk, as this is where I collect my emails, but lately my computer seems to be randomly changing the homepage to various different search engines.  I've changed it back numerous times, deleted cookies to see if that's the problem, but it just keeps doing it and I can't figure out why!
Also, occasionally when I tried to load a new page I get a search engine telling me the page wasn't found.  Could this be related?
Any help very welcome!

Your home sounds like its being hijacked and maybe you even have a Worm/Trojan.Have you run Ad-Aware or SpyBot S&D.Stinger from http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/stinger.htm is very good.

I ran SpyBot and found shedloads of Spyware and Adware, and a virus scan revealed about two dozen worm-eaten files.  So far, the problem seems to have cleared up.  Thanks for your help
