Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:


one of my friend baught a  pc frm a local vender and he suspect
that it might be possible that the vender had sell him a
low speed processor but the system is showing that it is P4
now tell me how to check the system processor speed
without opening the cabinet
because the pc is in gurantee period
is there any tweak/program
if any then tell me its adderess
kindly give only the reliable link

Go to http://www.seelhofer.ch/mad/ to their download section and download MyCPU.

This type of utility will give you the speed it is presently configured. If the vendor overclocked the CPU, the only way to tell is by physically looking at the CPU.
