I have a 14gb hard drive. My pc seems to think it is only a 2gb hard drive. I cleared the drive and created a new partition but my computer stiil only reads 2gb. I installed a new 40gb hard drive and all 40gbs are there, so i hooked up the 14gb one externally and it reads 14gb. Unfortunatly the other drive belongs to a friend. what possibly could I do to get my pc to read the entire 14gb hard drive.

It looks as if you just created a 2gb partition when you formated and you did not enter the full drive size and left it set on 2040mb. Check this out..
